I need all the pixels in case I print large, so I can't "crop" beforehand. But, it is not bad if comparing with other low-end smartphone. The popular square crop yields the same loss. It requires you to take a number of photographs of thesame scene - each with a different exposure. In particular, using the ‘Fade’ tool in many apps lessens the contrast in noisy shadows of the image, giving the illusion of cleaner final shot. If you buy this phone for its camera(s), it will be a big mistake.
