Report Mac- Feb 25, 2013 at 01:10 PM Explorer.exe didn't work with me but eventually came upon this inupt which worked for me RSTRUi .EXE do as above instructions except for That's a whole ‘nother ball game when it comes to the task bar. 🙂 ) It's hiding Press CTRL+ESC. If you instead see a new Windows Explorer window popup, that means the explorer.exe process was already running fine. Thanks for any help you can give me. read review
You want to make sure it is set to Computer only. That will check for missing or damaged files in Windows and repair or replace those that it can. right click on start, then click customize, click advanced, then check all item you want in your start up menu. Notify me of new posts by email. Now when you start your computer you'll see your wallpaper come up, then my program will start and relaunch your windows desktop. The screen came back up blank with no icons and no start menu.
That should restart explorer and re-display your taskbar. I was about to start a new thread about this, but this might be related. The system had hung partway through the restore. v0.1 by Scotch echo.
All I did was press ok, then apply, then everything was back on start menu and worked. Go to click on a program on your Windows taskbar and realize it's missing?
